I finally got around to ordering KGNE (Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, or Rumbling Hearts as they decided to call it in English :) on DVD. The first DVD has been out since December 19th, and I preordered the second one, which comes out on February 6th. I don’t really buy anime that much unless it’s really cheap, but KGNE is my favorite and I do buy anime when it’s really good. I already own my second favorite, Outlaw Star, so I guess it’s a given that I have to buy KGNE.
All of the computers in the Best Buy/Circuit City/etc sales papers this weekend were sporting Windows Vista, and they all showed Flip 3D on the screens in the pictures. I’m sorry, Vista is really cool, but Flip 3D is not that great – it’s just a 3D alt-tab. I wonder how many people will buy Vista and think Flip 3D is the coolest thing ever?
I laughed ridiculously long and hard at this. My dad came up behind me and read it while I was still laughing and he thought I was crazy. :D
I finally found a new WordPress theme I like. Since most people read this through RSS feeds or Facebook, I guess you’re not really seeing it. It’s based on the look of Vista, if you couldn’t tell. I think it’s really neat. You can pick the background from the thumbnails at the top of the page. I like the grass one and the clouds. :D
Here are some funny shirts on T-Shirt Hell:

My new shoes are completely silent. I could sneak up behind someone and snap their neck (hypothetically, of course) and they’d never have known it was coming. And that’s not just in comparison to my old ones. I have taken it upon myself to listen to other people walking, and nearly everyone’s shoes make this noise like their shoes are grinding sand as they walk.
The song “Slow Motion” by Third Eye Blind has some pretty “insane” lyrics, as Brendon Urie said when he covered it. If you’ve never heard the song, I suggest you check it out by either artist – Brendon does do the song justice, especially about 2/3 through the song on the line “I see my neighbor beating his wife, because he hates his life.” Remember, I warned you about the lyrics.
Maybe I should wait until the end of the day to update instead of making 4 little updates in the middle of the day. ><
Anywho, the point of this update is retarded.
I just thought of the best screen name for an emo kid, ever.
I swear if someone registers this and pulls a "lilstudmuffingrr" on me, I'm going to hunt you down and force feed you sauerkraut until you're 26 and a half years old. :(
It’s just a rumor right now, but the way my source makes it sound, they are pretty positive that Apple will hold a special even to give updates on Mac OS X Leopard, iLife ’07, iWork ’07, and Mac Pros. That’s one day after my birthday. Okay Steve, time to make up for MacWorld. Give me a 12″ MacBook Pro for my birthday. ;)
I’m pretty sure I said on my blog at some time that Apple would probably hold an event in February or March. Win! :D (…as long as this rumor is true).
Michael wrote something next to his name on the board at work, so I wrote some stuff under it.
It felt SOOOO good to do that. That song/chant annoys the CRAP out of me. Seriously.
For any of my coworkers (or Justin) that read this, ask me for a link to the Chris/Craig video on AIM.
