…and no, not by a Really Simple Syndication (RSS) Feed. D: The University Media Group, which owns Tiger Weekly, has another paper at Ohio State University, and Stephen Phillips just told me that my articles are going to be syndicated in it. All it means for me is more exposure, but that is still pretty cool!

My CPU, motherboard, and hard drive came in. I’m expecting the rest on Friday, though UPS’s tracking is either acting really goofy, or one of the packages is moving rather slowly from CA to TX. And speaking of shipping, I love when NewEgg ships crap from Tennessee. Like seriously, how awesome is that? You get it the day after they process and ship it. I love how quick they are, though this order has seemed rather slow so far. I can forgive one time though.
The CPU is an E7200, which makes it a Wolfdale and way faster than the CPU Apple uses in the Mac Mini (you know, if I were to compare it to something ;D). I’m really interested in seeing how this turns out, so I hope everything comes in on Friday as planned.
In non-tech related news, I wish I could think of something else to cook for dinner that’s easy and good and not horrible for me. What do you guys cook for dinner?
Oh, and I don’t think I said anything here yet about this, but I like salad now. Though I’ll only eat Caesar salads, for anyone that knows me, that’s got to be a shock, since I hate pretty anything that’s green, unless it’s broccoli or green beans. That’s thanks to Michelle, of course (liking salad, not hating green things…lawl).
I still haven’t gotten my economic stimulus check from the government. How sad.

Not that Apple cares since they haven’t really done much about Insanely Mac, the OSX86 community, but I may or may not have purchased components that are OS X compatible to build a computer that could hypothetically run OS X, hypothetically be over $200 cheaper than a Mac Mini, and hypothetically be extremely more powerful.
I’m writing a time clock program for us at work. It’s pretty interesting, even though I’m doing it in Visual Basic. It really made me realize how little I learned in ISDS 3200, though.
I made a pizza last night for Michelle, who came to Baton Rouge after a weekend at my parents’ house (the pizza wasn’t awesome, but it wasn’t half bad. ). We spent the weekend in Houma, by the way, because Michelle has a new job at Café Milano, which she really likes, and I’m glad because I could tell her old job sucked, and they took advantage of her there.

Being out of classes for summer is always so…relieving. Even though I have class again starting on June 9th, it’s just so nice to not have to think about what’s due next week, or that I have to study for an exam tomorrow.
Work is certainly different, though. We’ve got a couple of new people, and we lost a couple of old people that I’m pretty used to having around (farewell, Will and Stephen).
Oh well, I guess I’d better get used to that. It’s not like I won’t be leaving myself in December.

Lately, I’ve been looking a lot at Ultra-Mobile PC’s (UMPC’s). Not that I’m going to buy one, they just seem really cool, because I’ve always fancied the idea of tablet PC’s. It seems like something you’d get tired of kind of fast…but I’ve bought tons of crap like that in the past.
I still have a list of 3 books to read that I already own, and there’s a lot I’d like to read…I just never seem to find the time, even though I usually have time. I guess it’s just not high on my priorities, even though I used to love reading so much.
If you like Starburst (the chewy candies), you absolutely must try Minute Maid Pomegranate Lemonade. If they could liquify Starburst, this is exactly what it would taste like.

Michelle and I went to see Speed Racer on opening day, I believe, and like I previously said, it was fantastic. It had the most amazing visuals I’ve ever seen in a movie, and it was really funny and fun (I was smiling throughout a lot of it). We went to see it again in Destin at a Rave (cause Raves are freaking awesome; digital projection is so FTW). I can’t wait for it to come out on DVD.
Anyway. Destin was really fun. We went on the beach and went shopping and ate out and just had a good time. We tried to go to the Gulfarium, but it was closed on that one day we decided we wanted to go, which figures. :\
Our hotel was pretty nice and it was right across the (not busy) street from the beach.
Also, I’d like to know if anyone I know wrote this comment on my last Tiger Weekly article:

I appreciate it if you did, but I’m trying to figure out if it was a random person or not, cause it would be a lot cooler if it wasn’t someone I know, but it kind of sounds like Philip Cali or something, lawl.
I’m going to try to keep up with my blog more now that the semester is over. Speaking of that, though, it ended pretty well. I brought my GPA up a little bit, and somehow managed to pull up all B’s and an A. How I got a B in Project Management, I’ll never know. And for that matter, how I got a 90 on my VB final is also a miracle, considering I didn’t even do one part of the 50 point programming section that was worth 5 or 8 points or something, which is automatically a 90 or an 84.
I’ve got more stuff to write about, but I’ll do it later. That’s enough for you guys to digest right now.

Michelle was with me from Wednesday night until a little earlier today, and that, along with a complete lack of things to write about will hopefully explain my non-blogging.
I bought a grill yesterday. Just a little electric one, cause I didn’t feel like dealing with propane or charcoal, and I cooked a steak on it today for us. It was good. I also bought a coffee maker today. I used to make instant coffee in the morning, but this semester I kind of stopped since my classes weren’t making me go to sleep during them. This summer I’ll have to get up pretty early for work though, so I guess I’ll start drinking coffee again. D:
Oh, and we saw Iron Man on Friday. It was freaking great.
I have an exam tomorrow in VB, and then Project Management and Networking on Wednesday, and my finals are done. It’s looking to be the most stressless finals week in a long, long time. And then I’m going to Florida with Michelle next week.
